Tweet Cute by Emma Lord (ARC Review)

Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming ― mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.

Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. His relationship with the business that holds his future might be love/hate, but when Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.

All’s fair in love and cheese ― that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Little do they know, while they’re publicly duking it out with snarky memes and retweet battles, they’re also falling for each other in real life ― on an anonymous chat app Jack built.

As their relationship deepens and their online shenanigans escalate ― people on the internet are shipping them?? ― their battle gets more and more personal, until even these two rivals can’t ignore they were destined for the most unexpected, awkward, all-the-feels romance that neither of them expected.

*Before I jump in, I want to thank the publisher and Goodreads for providing me with an ARC of this title. All thoughts are my own, this is an honest review and is not impacted by the fact that this was a gifted copy.*

Pepper wants to the best, she wants to get the best grades (which she does) and wants to keep her spot at the top. She doesn’t want to feel like she has to run her moms business in any way shape or form. Jack is a goof, he’s smart and does well but he’s nothing like Pepper. Slowly, the two develop the most unlikely friendship but is all truly fair in love and cheese?

I loved this book so much and I hope when the finished copy comes out there are recipes in the back of the book because I want nothing more than to make all the recipes that were mentioned in this book.

I absolutely love books that take place in Manhattan, which is where I live now. I love books about different areas in the city. This was so fun. I related to Pepper’s fear of traveling out of her little area of where she felt comfortable.

I really enjoyed this and I can’t wait for it to come out and the rest of the world gets to read it too!

If you love contemporary romance, I 100000000% recommend this one!!
