10. A Cinderella Story
Sam and Austin are just meant for each other. They both have the brains and the beauty. I think this movie is what really started my whole retelling love, I remember watching this as a kid with my friends at sleepovers. We would all swoon over Austin.
9. 13 Going On 30
I received this movie on DVD a few years ago from my aunt for hanukah and it was one of the best presents I ever received. I remember that night putting the movie in the DVD player and watching it, I was in love with it the minute the menu popped up to press play. Jenna and Matt are so fun to watch together, I love seeing Jenna try to navigate the world as an adult with her still thirteen year old mindset.
8. Blended
My mom got me into this movie. I’m not usually a fan of Adam Sandler movies but this one was so much fun. Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler play single parents trying to navigate the world of raising teens. They get set up on a really bad blind date and yet can’t seem to get away from each other, even on their family vacations to Africa. This movie is so much fun and puts a whole new perspective on blended families. This is one I would suggest for a family movie night.
7. High School Musical 1
Alright, alright, alright. This was probably the first romance movie I can remember loving. I don’t need to say anything else about it. I mean, its HSM.
6. High School Musical 2
Don’t tell me you don’t sing along to Bet On It. I think this is one of the better ones they have made.
5. High Musical 3
I dont even need to say anything. Enjoy this GIF of Zac Efron.
4. Cant Buy Me Love
Young Patrick Dempsey plays nerdy highschooler Ronald who save popular girl Cindi from getting in trouble with her mom in exchange for pretending to be his girlfriend. It’s your typical fake relationship that somehow becomes real.
3. 10 Things I Hate About You
Heath Ledger. That’s it.
2. Bride Wars
Weddings, The Plaza hotel, Vera Wang, Tiffany and Co, rivalries and more. This is a fun girls night-in movie. Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson play childhood best friends who get engaged and both want to get married at The Plaza, in June. When a scheduling mistake ends up booking both ladies weddings on the same day, all hell breaks loose. I am very happy that Emma ends up with who she ends up with at the end.
1. Clueless
This is the movie that started my love for anything romance. Josh (Paul Rudd) is a nerdy, clumsy ex-stepbrother of popular Cher (Alicia Silverstone) I can’t really say more without ruining the whole plot line. The movie talks about drugs, being gay, and more topics that are important.
