Hello everyone! I have a goodreads shelf of over 70 books I own but havent read yet, so these are the ten I am most excited to read and have put on the top of my TBR for 2018. After buying 15 books yesterday, I am on a book buying ban until May 2018 (which is right in time to get ready for BookCon!) so I won’t be buying any of these. But if anyone wants to get me a gift, you know what I want. (I’m kidding. Kind of.)
10. 9 Days and 9 Nights by Katie Cotugno
The irresistible sequel to the bestselling 99 Days.

I am SO happy we are getting another book from her and that it has to do with 99 Days, because let me tell you that I REALLY didn’t like the ending in 99 Days. I can’t wait to have these characters back for a bit.
9. Someone to Love by Melissa de la Cruz

If you have read Something In Between, this is a book focusing on Royce’s sister Olivia. I really like Melissa de la Cruz’s books, I am really excited to read this one.

I loved A Study In Charlotte and The Last of August is the book I’m reading next. I love Jamie and Charlotte, their relationship is so amazing and complex. I’m so excited.
7. Listen to Your Heart by Kassie West

I mean, Kasie West if the queen of contemporary novels. I will read everything she writes. She is an author whose books I want to own each one of. She’s amazing.
6. The Last Summer of the Garret Girls by Jessica Spotswood

This is like Confessions of The Sullivan Sisters for older teens and I am so excited to read this. I love books that take place during the summer and this just looks amazing.
5. Leah on The Off Beat by Becky Albertalli

I read Secrets of My Hollywood Life and The Sleepaway Girls (which is now one of my favorite books ever. I go back to it all the time.) I love her writing and I’m so excited for this one!
3. Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

Alex, Approximately was one of my favorite books I have read so far. Porter is SO swoon worthy and amazing. The writing was so good and it was such a fun read. I’m so excited to read this one.
2. You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone by Rachel Lynn Solomon

This is the first book I have ever found that I know I will be able to relate to the characters. Tovah and Adina are observant Jewish teens, and I am a Modern Orthodox Jew. I pre-ordered this before my ban began. This will probably be one of my first reads of the new year.
1.Save The Date by Morgan Matson
Charlie Grant’s older sister is getting married this weekend at their family home, and Charlie can’t wait—for the first time in years, all four of her older siblings will be under one roof. Charlie is desperate for one last perfect weekend, before the house is sold and everything changes. The house will be filled with jokes and games and laughs again. Making decisions about things like what college to attend and reuniting with longstanding crush Jesse Foster—all that can wait. She wants to focus on making the weekend perfect.
The only problem? The weekend is shaping up to be an absolute disaster.
There’s the unexpected dog with a penchant for howling, house alarm that won’t stop going off, and a papergirl with a grudge.
There are the relatives who aren’t speaking, the (awful) girl her favorite brother brought home unannounced, and a missing tuxedo.
Not to mention the neighbor who seems to be bent on sabotage and a storm that is bent on drenching everything. The justice of the peace is missing. The band will only play covers. The guests are all crazy. And the wedding planner’s nephew is unexpectedly, distractingly…cute.
Over the course of three ridiculously chaotic days, Charlie will learn more than she ever expected about the family she thought she knew by heart. And she’ll realize that sometimes, trying to keep everything like it was in the past means missing out on the future.
Morgan Matson is one of the best authors I have ever read. I LOVED The Unexpected Everything more than any of the other books I read this past summer. I am so excited to read this and I love how all her characters show up in all her books.
