Thank you so much Jasmine (from https://jasminesreading.wordpress.com). Jasmine is amazing and super nice! You should go check out her blog!
When is your favorite time of day to read and why?
Bed time. I love reading while unwinding from a long day at school or work. Being all nice and snuggly in my bed with my book, it’s so nice.
2. Do you have a favorite book candle? If not, name a character or bookish aesthetic you’d like a candle for and describe what it would smell like.
I actually dont own any candles. I think for me, I want one that would smell like Once and For All by Sarah Dessen. It would smell like the beach and flowers, the beach because the book takes place
3.What was your favorite book you had to read for school?
I loved the Egypt Game. It was so good. But I think my favorite was Crash by Jerry Spinelli. I go back and read it all the time.
4.What was the last book you bought and/or the last one you borrowed from a library?
The last book I bought was You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone by Rachel Lynn Solomon. And the last book I borrowed from the library was Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally.
5.Name a book you regret reading (no explanation necessary).
Heartless by Marissa Meyers
6.What is your favorite mythical character/being/animal?
House Elves
7.What are you currently reading?
Illuminae by Jay Kristof and Amy Kaufman, A Short History of the Girl Next Door by Jared Reck, and Sophomores and Other Oxymorons by David Lubar I know that’s a lot of books at once, I sometimes I get distracted and I start new books. I do end up finishing books but it sometimes takes me a while.
8. Name a group, culture, identity, etc. that you’d like to see better representation of in literature.
Modern Orthodox Jews like myself.
9.Hardcovers or paperbacks?
Paperbacks. They are less expensive. That’s a lesson my grandmother taught me.
10. What is your favorite drink or snack to consume while reading?
Potato Chips or ice cream. Or french fries. I cant choose just one!
11.Last book you read in a day (or in the shortest time for you)?
The Princess Saves Herself in this one. I’m not usually fan of poetry but this one hit me in all the feels.
