September,October and Most of November Wrap Up

Hi everyone! I know I have been MIA these past few months and I won’t be nearly as active as I have been in the past. This school has been extremely busy and I have hardly had anytime to just relax. And thank god, my photography business has started picking up again. I am going to still be posting but not nearly as often as I had once been posting.

I’m a little bit rusty having been out of blogging for a bit, so please excuse anything that seems out of the norm I’m slowly getting back into It.

  1. Sophomores and Other Oxymorons by Dave Lubar

This was cute, but not nearly as cute as the first one. I liked getting to see the characters grow up but I found it a little lacking.

2. The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro

Never in a million years did I think I would actually enjoy reading mystery novels. I love Jamie Watson so much and the stark contrast between him and Charlotte makes this so much more fun to read.

3. My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan

This one got me in the feels, y’all. It had the magic of falling in love, the beauty of England and the adventure I was looking for in a good book. I really recommend this, I finished It in one sitting.

4. Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy

I dont know why it took me nearly as long as it did to finally getting around to read this book because it was one of the cutest books I have read. I loved the characters and the writing, it was a fun and quick read.

5. Shut Out by Kody Keplinger

This was not one of my favorite books by Kody Keplinger. I found myself trying to convince myself to keep reading this and while I did finish it, I don’t think I would recommend it to anyone.

6. Crush Du Jour by Micol Ostow

1976271

As you may know, I am a sucker for romantic comedy novels and this was no different. It was fun and cute, and filled with yummy food!

7. Baby Proof by Emily Giffin

Emily Giffin, you can do no wrong. This was one of the best books I have read in a while. The characters are fun and real. This was probably my favorite book to have read these three months.

8. Puddin’ by Julie Murphy

28269171

While I loved Dumplin’, I think Puddin’ was even better. There was something really special about getting to know Millie and watching her grow into the superstar she is. Her friendship with Callie was special and amazing. I loved this so much.

9. 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson

This was a cute read and it was quick. I would 100% say it was a five star read. I loved the travel and adventure in the novel.

10. The Last Little Envelope by Maureen Johnson

The companion novel to 13 Little Blue Envelopes was also amazing and a quick read but I do wish we got more closure. Maybe a third book with Ginny in college???

11. Check Please! #Hockey, Vol. 1 by Ngozi Ukazu

THIS WAS AMAZING!!! Even if youre not a hockey fan, I think you will be able to really enjoy this. The graphics are OUT OF THIS WORLD, it has a strong plot, fun characters and  BAKING.

12. Archie Vol. 4 by Mark Waid

I am a huge Archie comics fan and reading the new Archie comics has been lots of fun. The drawings are great and the story line is very strong.
