I have been having trouble figuring out what to post for awhile so my friend Alexa from Writing The Universe told me that she did these 20 Bookish Questions posts, so I copied her and I am doing them too! If you want to check out her post, Alexa’s Post (this is the link.)
How many books are too many books in a series?
I think anything more than six. I get bored quickly and start reading other series.
How do you feel about cliffhangers?
I don’t like cliffhangers. I prefer the book to be all neatly wrapped up.
Hardback or paperback?
Paperback. They are less expensive and theres something I really like about having a paperback.
Favorite book?
Hhhmm. I find that every book I read becomes my new favorite. But I have a few. The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider, The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson and Sleepaway Girls by Jenn Calonita. And a new favorite is The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. I devoured that book.
Least favorite book?
Any fantasy. I know people aren’t going to be happy with this answer, but almost all YA fantasy I find to be the worst.
Love triangles, yes or no?
It depends on the book. If it helps with the plot and makes sense then I like it. But if its there just to add drama I dont find it fun to read about at all.
The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?
Heartless by Marissa Meyers.
A book you’re currently reading?
I am reading so many. Some of them are: From Twinkle, With love, The Wedding Date and The Leading Edge of Now.
The last book to recommended to someone?
I think it was The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider. I recommend it to everyone I can.
Oldest book you’ve read? (Pub date)
It was Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I had to read it for my AP English Literature class and I really didn’t enjoy it.
Newest book you’ve read? (pub date)
Does an ARC of an unreleased book count? Because if so, it’s what I’m currently reading. The Leading Edge of Now baby Marci Lynn Curtis which comes out in September.
Favorite author?
Wow. This one is a hard one. I love Morgan Matson and Katie Cotugno. Also Sarah Dessen is a new favorite of mine.
13. Buying books or borrowing books?
I love owning books but money. So I usually end up borrowing them from the library which I love because libraries are amazing.
A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?
Illuminae, Throne of Glass, Heartless. As you can tell, I really don’t like fantasy.
Bookmarks or dog-ears?
Bookmark and dog-ear. I dog-ear when I want to remember a quote or part that of the book that I loved. And I use bookmarks when I want to save my place in the book.
A book you can always reread?
The Beginning of Everything. I relate to Ezra in so many ways.
Can you read while hearing music?
Always. I need to have some background noise usually, whether it be people talking or music or TV. I need there to be something.
One POV or multiple POVs?
It depends on the story but usually I enjoy multiple, and by multiple I mean two. I find that it gets too complicated if you have more than two.
Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
I wish I could read a book in one sitting. I usually read them over multiple days which I prefer because this way I can enjoy it more.
Do you like lending your books out?
Yes and no. It always depends on who I am lending them to. I have some friends who do not return them, so I don’t lend them out to them anymore.
